On the evening of January 2nd 2026 Brockport Police responded to a Main St. address for the report of a domestic incident that resulted in a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a 48-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was transported by Monroe Ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital for emergency surgery.The incident resulted in the arrest of Bertha Kelley, 73, of Brockport. Kelley was charged with Assault in the First Degree, a Class B felony. She was processed by police and transported to the Monroe County Jail pending arraignment.
