If you want to vote in the village election via absentee ballot, you must apply for an absentee ballot. The Village of Brockport election is September 15, 2020.
Everyone in New York received applications for absentee ballots for the November general election — this is not for the village election. You must fill out a separate form indicating your request for a village ballot.
Under Section 1 of the application please indicate your reason for request as temporary illness or physical disability
Under Section 2 of the application please indicate your request is for a special election. (You can write “Brockport” next to that field).
You can get an absentee ballot application here or we can print one for you at Village Hall.
Where and when to return your application: applications must be mailed seven days before the election, or hand-delivered to your countyboard of elections by the day before the election; If the address of your county board of elections is not provided on this form, contact information for your local election office can be found on the New York State Board of Elections’ website, under “County Boards of Election” directory at http//www.elections.ny.gov/CountyBoards.html
