The Village of Brockport is proud to be one of the founding communities of Finger Lakes Community Choice renewable energy program. This historic program, will form an important pillar in New York State’s Climate Action Plan of reaching 70% renewables by 2030, through allowing villages such as our own, to make community solar available to all residents and small businesses of Brockport through a single bidding and contracting process directly with the solar developer (rather than each resident being required to sign up on their own). On top of this, residents will benefit from a 10% discount compared to what we have historically paid for basic National Grid supply for all their solar credits.

This is an opt-out program.  Please read the full details here, and find contact information for the program administer if you have questions.  Two public meetings will be held for the community to learn more and ask questions on Sept 22 and Oct 15, 2020.  Meeting information will be posted here a week in advance.
