Property owners and residents will be receiving a letter from Superintendent Dan Verace regarding a water meter inspection and service line verification requirement.

Read the Letter: Water Meter Inspection 2024

Please take a photo of your water meter showing both water lines going in and out of the meter.

Send the photo to:  water@brockportny.gov   Include your property address in the Subject line.

If we do not receive a photo showing the meter with both lines in it by January 22nd your property will be added to our list to go door-to-door in order confirm the water meter and components for this EPA requirement.  DPW employees will begin door-to-door stops beginning in the Southwest quadrant (streets west of Main Street), from 3-6pm until the inventory is complete. Employees will have identifying clothing and Village ID on their person.

Please help us complete this required work efficiently – we don’t need to knock on your door and put eyes on the water meter if you send us a photo!
