Finally, per the bridge meeting from June 17th, some (at present) firm dates for bridge testing and reopening. The bridge testing—electrical, bridge balance, crossing gates, etc and the integration of the electrical and mechanical for the full operation of the bridge is scheduled for the Brockport Main Street bridge the week of July 14th. Albion’s testing is scheduled for the week of July 7th; Albion’s new control panel is being delivered today. The testing is done by Champion Controls out of Florida. The Brockport bridge now has a scheduled opening date of July 28th.
My last day as mayor will be June 30th. Village Manager Erica Linden will be the contact person going forward for the bridge completion, and bridge updates will be weekly.
