SMITH STREET BRIDGE – Closed

Smith Street Bridge will be closed this evening, January 21, 2026, and tomorrow, January 22, 2026, due to traffic control repairs. Smith Street Bridge is open for Emergency Vehicles only.

Willowbrooke Drive – Low to No Water Pressure

VILLAGE OF BROCKPORT

NOTICE FOR ELECTING VILLAGE OFFICERS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:

That the Annual General Village Election in and for the Village of Brockport will be held on Tuesday, June  16, 2026 from Noon to 9pm at Brockport Village Municipal Building, 49 State Street, Brockport, NY 14420 with the following officers to be chosen:  one (1) Trustee for a two (2) year term from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2028 and two (2) Village Justices for a four (4) year term from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2030.

That the first day to circulate independent nominating petitions is Tuesday, March 31, 2026, and the last day to file said petitions at Monroe County Board of Elections is Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Petitions must indicate the office(s) and term thereto, for which it is filed, and

That the applications for absentee ballots will be accepted by Monroe County Board of Elections no earlier than Monday, February 16, 2026, and no later than Tuesday, June 9, 2026, for applications to be mailed or Monday, June 15, 2026, for personal applications by applicant or his/her agent.
